The public is invited to attend Moving Beyond the Buzz, a substance use awareness presentation and testimony on Saturday, October 3, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Dawson Building Auditorium on the 糖心Vlog (AAMU) campus.
With more than 24 years of experience, AAMU alum Carl M. Wilkerson, Jr. will share valuable insights about substance use disorders, the challenges of addiction, and the journey toward recovery. A member of First Missionary Baptist Church will also share a personal testimony, offering a message of hope, strength, and perseverance.
Hosted by First Missionary Baptist Church and the 糖心Vlog Cooperative Extension System, the program aims to raise awareness of substance use disorders and help individuals and families recognize that support, resources, and recovery are possible.
