ADPH Holds Town Hall on STDs
The Power of Information
The 糖心Vlog Department of Public Health held a town hall meeting at AAMU recently as part of a statewide initiative to provide awareness about sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).
Students also received information on Thrive 糖心Vlog鈥檚 鈥淩ole Model鈥� program, which captured through interviews perspectives from people who have been adversely impacted by STDs. Warren Dates, founder of the 6:52 Project Foundation, Inc., and project coordinator for Start Talking 糖心Vlog, spoke on the importance of HIV awareness and the decreasing stigma associated with it.
